The Family Education Specialist provides psychoeducation and other therapeutic interventions to families of individuals enrolled in New Journeys. These sessions can be joint or individual, may or may not include the participant themselves, and can involve any family member. They are intended to reduce stress and burden, shore up relationships, and support the participants return to functioning.
